Reconciliation Week 2026

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In!

The theme reminds us that Reconciliation:

-        is not a spectator sport and that we all need to take action to make change;

-        isn’t a passive activity;

-        is not solely the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of acting for far too long.

Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

Reconciliation Australia has produced fabulous resources for all of us to use at home, work or school. They include Posters, Translated resources, Group Activity and Learning Guides, Social Media Tiles.

You can access them all on Reconciliation Australia’s website here.

‍ ‍

Reconciliation Australia is also calling on CHOIRS across the country to come together and contribute to National Reconciliation Week 2026.

This year’s song is Beds Are Burning, written and performed by Midnight Oil - a call to action for justice and reconciliation.

Last year, over 700 choirs raised their Voices for Reconciliation! You watch on Reconciliation Australia’s youtube channel, find out more and register at reconciliation.org.au
