Beds are Burning!

The Voices for Reconciliation 2026 song is the classic land rights anthem Beds Are Burning by Midnight Oil.

Choirs from all across Australia have sung the classic Midnight Oil anthem Beds are Burning to mark the beginning of Reconciliation week 2026.

The song - released in 1987 - continues to resonate as a call to action. There is still much to be done, and we need to be All Infor justice and reconciliation.

We are very proud to share with you the Urban Voices of Epping Choir! HARR member Helen White and her fellow choristers have contributed to the Reconciliation Australia 2026 compilation featuring singers from around the country.
